Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-17
This policy covers the website at pdfnext.com (“PdfNext”, “we”), operated by NextOne Labs LLC. The short version: your files never leave your device, and we do not collect personal data.
Your files
When you use a PdfNext tool, the file you choose is read by your web browser and processed by code that runs on your device. Files are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. Results are created on your device and saved only when you choose to download them. When you close the page, the files are gone from the page’s memory.
If you type a password to open or protect a PDF, it is used by your browser on your device to decrypt or encrypt that file. It is never sent anywhere or stored.
Information we collect
We do not ask for your name or email, we do not use accounts, and we do not use cookies, advertising, analytics scripts or tracking pixels on this website.
Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the service from abuse. This information is handled under the provider’s own policies and is not used by us to identify you.
Storage on your device
We store a single preference in your browser’s local storage: whether you chose the light or dark theme. To make the site work offline, your browser also keeps a copy of the site’s own pages and code. You can clear both at any time in your browser settings.
Children
PdfNext is a general-purpose tool and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Our apps
Using the PdfNext app? It has its own policy, which covers ads and purchases. Read the app privacy policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
